Castellare di Castellina 'I Sodi di San Niccolo' Toscana IGT 2014, Italy
PRESS: Vinous - 94 points. "The flagship I Sodi di San Niccolò is fabulous in 2014. Like so many wines in this vintage, I Sodi is going to need time in bottle to be at its best given the naturally nervous, sinewy style of the year. Even so, there is quite a bit of depth and persistence in the glass. I would prefer to cellar the 2014 for at least a few years."

Winemaker Notes:
Full-bodied, with firm yet fine-grained tannins, I Sodi di San Niccolò is a rich and elegant wine that offers aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries, and currants which are complemented by notes of vanilla, leather, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full and rich with high aging potential.
