Château Grand Village Rouge 2013, Bordeaux Supérieur
PRES: James Suckling 90-91 points. "Plenty of chocolate, berry and spice character. Medium body and a juicy finish. Lovely texture."
Producer: Château Grand Village
Region: Bordeaux Wine Region
Variety: Bordeaux blend
Aroma: First impressions are focused on fresh fruit, a lovely nose of red and black berries that still retain a certain crunchiness.
Taste: Remarkable precision as well as a creamy texture, a charming combination. The ripe Merlot marries beautifully with the more alert Cabernet Franc and it’s the quality of the tannins that really mark out the success of the vintage. Impressive structure and energy and on the finish, the wine showing excellent balance. This is certain to age well despite being delicious already.
