Domaines Schlumberger Riesling Les Princes Abbes, Alsace 2016, France
AWARD: Drinks Business Global Masters - Silver Medal. "Slightly honeyed nose, attractive, with seemingly some botrytised fruit characters. Palate dry and intense acidity, with some elastic band/petrol TDN, waxy slightly honeyed notes, oily at core, fresh lemon finish. Not pure Clare valley style of others, more Alsace. Chalky finish. Complex, and best Riesling so far of the category."
