La Spinetta Vürsù Vigneto Valeirano, Barbaresco DOCG 2011, Italy
PRESS: International Wine Report - 92 points. "The 2011 La Spinetta 'Valeriano’ Barbaresco from Giorgio Rivetti is impressive for its beautifully polished character and remarkable structure. The wine instantly bursts open with ripe strawberries and juniper berries followed by fresh mushroom, earth, floral, orange zest and wet stones. This looks to be a Barbaresco that will be quite accessible early on, however I would still allow this a bit of time in bottle to flesh out as it will certainly evolve further with time.
